Softball Pitching Coach
"My view on sports started at a basketball camp when I was 8 years old. I remember it like it was yesterday. My dad used to tell me if you don't win anything at that camp, win the hustle award and that lead to the way I played the game, the way I teach the game, and the way I respect the game." To Claire, softball is more than just a game. It has taught her more about life than she could have ever imagined. Work ethic, effort, and playing for something bigger than yourself are three things she says she has learned and believe to be some of the most important aspects in all sports. "Getting the opportunity to work for a place and community like Proformance has always been a dream of mine. Everyone has a common goal and similar interests to make this place what it has become, and I love that."
In high school, Claire played volleyball and softball. She loved both and had the opportunity to play both in college. The summer before her junior year of high school, she decided to further her softball career at the University of Arkansas. Woo Pig Sooie! Claire was a pitcher and an outfielder/hitter all through her life and during her college career.
There, she played all four years and graduated with a degree in Education with an emphasis in Art Education. One day hopes to be an art teacher and a coach. "I want to help kids learn what I learned in order to become the best athletes and the best people they can be. I believe God placed me on a stage and gave me opportunities to shine his light while passing down the knowledge I was taught so that I can help others.”Schedule a Lesson
