Clint Wallace is a Greenbriar, Arkansas native. He was a three-sport athlete during high school playing baseball, football, and basketball. In addition, Clint was also an impressive high school state champion team roper. Something he still excels at today! Clint graduated in 2002 but not before being chosen All-Conference, All-State, and selected for the All-Star game. He was also a two time select to the High School American Legion All-Star game. After high school, Clint continued his baseball career at Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas. He was a four-year letter and the starting catcher for 200 games throughout his college career. Clint was a standout behind the plate as well as at the plate. His sophomore year he hit .333 and was selected as an NCCAA All- Conference honorable mention. His senior year he lead the nation with a .688 on base percentage, finished in the top 5 in the nation with a .427 batting average, as well as top 5 in doubles. These statistics along with 5 homeruns landed Clint the best offensive player award for the year. He finished his college career with over 10 homeruns and hit over .300 in each of his 4 seasons. Not being quite ready to hang up his cleats just yet, Clint played in the KIT Woodbat League for the Sikeston Bulls during the summer of 2006. Keeping with his trend he finished up with a .357 batting average.  Clint’s love for the game has never faded. His work ethic and knowledge of what it takes to be a great defensive player is something he is eager to share with the our young Proformance athletes. “I always prided myself on being a great defensive player and was able to be around and learn from some great catchers throughout my career. They taught me a lot about the game!”
