Hope is from Clinton, IN where she attended South Vermillion High School. She was a multi sport athlete in volleyball and softball, while partaking in CrossFit during the off seasons and playing travel softball with the Indiana Shockwaves.
While in high school, Hope was a 4x All-Conference Selection, 2x All-State Selection, an Indiana North vs. South All-Star, and set multiple records. As a freshman, she set the single season homerun record and would later set career records for RBIs, homeruns, slugging percentage, runs scored, and highest batting average. She also helped lead her team to 2 Sectional Championships and 3 All-Conference titles.
Hope was recruited by Indiana University, where she played as a catcher and utility player. While she was there, IU had a very successful 2019 season being ranked #16 in the country defeating teams like #10 ranked LSU and #6 ranked Georgia.
After deciding to hang her cleats up, she started giving back to the softball community by coaching and providing hitting, catching, and strength/agility lessons.
Hope now resides in Little Rock where she plans to continue giving back to the sport that she loves the most.
