Baseball has been Matt’s passion since he could hold a ball and a glove. Even from the beginning, he knew that he eventually wanted to become a coach so he can pass down the wisdom that so many have passed down to him.
Matt Biedron was born and raised in Naperville, IL which is in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. He attended Neuqua Valley High School where he was a standout pitcher. From high school, Matt attended Harper Junior College in Illinois. After a brief stint at the University of Kentucky, Matt finished his collegiate baseball career pitching for Transylvania University.
Following his playing career, Matt was an instructor at the Lexington Baseball School and the head coach of the Lexington Grays U13 travel baseball team. After moving to Little Rock, Matt became the pitching coach for the Pulaski Academy Bruins under the tutelage of head coach Billy Adams.
In his first season at PA, the Bruins captured the 5A state championship. The following year, Pulaski Academy made another state title game appearance. He is currently the pitching coach for the Bruins.
Matt is excited to work with kids of all ages from around the state. He looks forward to sharing his baseball knowledge with anyone that wants to work hard and improve their game.
